For more than thirty years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children, parents, and educators as a Montessori educator, literacy specialist, dyslexia practitioner, mentor, and writer.

Over time, I came to realize that each of these paths was leading me toward the same purpose: helping adults see children more clearly and respond with greater wisdom, compassion, and confidence.

When my son and daughter-in-law became parents, I wanted to gather everything I had learned over decades of observing children and supporting families into one beautiful binder for them.

 

That simple idea grew into The Heart of the Guide.
